I love this cotton yarn - coral

Size US 8 Straight Knitting Needles Gauge: 9 stitches x 12 rows = 2”x2”

Abbreviation: CO- Cast on, BO- Bind off

Stockinette Stitch: knit one row, purl one row, repeat.

For Bow

  1. CO 14 st
  2. Work stockinette stitch for 24 rows
  3. BO, Cut yarn, weave in ends

For Headband - thin

  1. CO 3 Stitches with long tail cast on, leave extra long tail for finishing.
  2. Work Stockinette stitch until headband is length the desired fit.
  3. BO, 
  4. Cut a long tail
  5. Making sure not to twist the band, fold in half and seam together.

For Headband - thick

  1. CO 6 Stitches with long tail cast on, leave extra long tail for finishing.
  2. Work Stockinette stitch until headband is length the desired fit. BO, 
  3. Cut a long tail

  1. Making sure not to twist the band, fold in half and seam together.

Finishing

Take the bow, fold it in half vertically to find the center. With the knit side facing the front - accordion fold 3 times starting at the top edge towards the front. 

Seam the folds together vertically using the long tail of the headband. Sew it tightly to the headband then use the remaining tail to wrap the bow and headband a few times. Tie and weave in ends
